Dear Colleagues:
Spring is here, and many of us tend to dedicate time to spring cleaning, whether it be our cars, homes, closets or offices. Perhaps this year you will consider helping a loved one "spring clean" their health by quitting smoking. If you or someone you know does decide to quit smoking, please take a look at the tools available online at www.BecomeAnEX.org.
We have had a productive past few weeks here at Legacy, working alongside the National Alliance for Tobacco Control (NATC) to launch the EX® quit smoking campaign. The campaign will include television and radio ads which target adult smokers and encourage them to "re-learn" their lives without smoking. The effort also includes a Web site (also available in Spanish), grassroots outreach, and out-of-home advertising designed to reach smokers during times and places where they typically smoke.
