truth® Campaign Continues its Winning Streak |

truth®, the national youth smoking prevention campaign from the American Legacy Foundation®, won the 2007 PR News Non-Profit PR Award in Marketing Communications. PR News' Nonprofit Awards Program is dedicated to honoring talented communication professionals at U.S. nonprofits and associations. truth® was nominated alongside such well-known organizations as the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, the National Institute for People with Disabilities, and United Cerebral Palsy.
truth® was recognized for taking advantage of new technologies and partnerships to maximize the impact of every program, and create a comprehensive media and public relations strategy that used a variety of elements together to keep truth® top of mind with media, the public, and key influencers.
The Nonprofit PR Awards were presented by the leading industry publication PR News on December 4th at an awards event at the National Press Club in Washington DC.
