Nominations should be submitted online at www.americanlegacy.org/awards, by the rapidly approaching deadline of July 11, 2007, at 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The two awards for which individuals can be nominated are the Sybil G. Jacobs Adult Award for Outstanding Use of Tobacco Industry Documents and the Christine O. Gregoire Youth/Young Adult Award for Outstanding Use of Tobacco Industry Documents. These awards recognize research, policy and advocacy contributions that result in tangible, positive actions from traditional or innovative uses of tobacco industry documents. The winners with receive $7,500 and will be honored during the National Conference on Tobacco or Health in Minneapolis, MN on October 25, 2007.
