 |
truth® has won a prestigious award from the National Television Academy. On Oct. 19, the truth® found campaign Web site (found.thetruth.com) received the first-ever Community Service Emmy Award for "programming distributed via Advanced Media." The category recognizes achievement in advanced media, such as the Internet, cell phones and personal media players.
The award is part of the National Public Service Announcement (PSA) category at The National Television Academy's Public and Community Service awards ceremony, which was held in New York City.
This is the latest commendation recognizing the effectiveness and innovative nature of the truth® campaign, which has won more than 300 awards for its advertising efficacy while saving thousands of lives.
Joe Martyak, the foundation's Executive Vice President for Marketing, Communications and Public Policy, attended the awards luncheon in New York to accept the award on behalf of the foundation.
