National Board of Public Health Examiners Cheryl Healton, Dr. P.H., President and CEO of the foundation, has joined the effort to create a nationally recognized credentialing exam for public health professionals. She has been appointed to serve as a member the Board of Directors for the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE). The NBPHE is an independent organization created to develop, prepare, administer and evaluate certification examinations for graduates from schools that have been accredited or pre-accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. Dr. Healton chairs the committee on finance.
